Ambassador Huang Zheng Met with the President of the College of Micronesia

On September 12th, H.E. Huang Zheng, Chinese Ambassador to the FSM, met with Mr. Joseph Daisy, the President of College of Micronesia(COM).

H.E. Ambassador Huang and President Daisy exchanged views on the issues of bilateral education cooperation, dispatch of Chinese teacher, construction of agricultural demonstration projects in COM. President Daisy thanked the Chinese Embassy for its donations for the school in recent years, and hoped that there would be more exchanges between COM and Chinese universities. Ambassador Huang said that education stands for the future of a nation, and is an important area for improvement of people's livelihood. Chinese side is willing to help the COM to continuously improve the education conditions, to enhance the cooperation of education between the two sides, and to bring more benefits to the local people.
